Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field

Over 5 years of experience in refrigeration systems

Proven experience in designing refrigeration systems (preferably for industrial or commercial applications)

Familiarity with low-GWP and natural refrigerants such as CO₂ and hydrocarbons is an advantage

Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (e.g., BS EN, ASHRAE, F-Gas, PED)

Membership in a professional engineering body is desirable

Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics

Proficient in heat load calculations and system sizing

Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar

Familiarity with refrigeration controls, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and refrigerant properties
