We are seeking motivated Policy Analysts and Senior Policy Analysts to join the Welfare System and Income Support Policy Group at the Ministry of Social Development / Te Manatū Whakahiato Ora (MSD). 

The Welfare System and Income Support Policy Group is made up of two teams that work very closely together. Team members have opportunities to work across both teams on a broad range of work programme areas. 
 

The Welfare System team provides advice on system-level welfare settings to support the government’s welfare reforms to ensure that the welfare system is fair, accessible and fit for purpose. Current high-priority projects include enabling the use of automated decision making and welfare settings for / year-olds.
