Helse Fonna, Haugesund Hospital has a vacant permanent position of senior physician in endocrinology. If there are no applicants who are/can become a specialist in endocrinology, it may be appropriate to fill in for a senior physician in internal medicine. Haugesund Hospital has clinics for medicine (incl. children and newborns), surgery (incl. obstetrics/gynecology and fertility), psychiatry, and medical services (incl. emergency, radiology, clinical chemistry and pathology).
The medical clinic includes internal medicine with branch specialists in most areas as well as neurology, oncology, geriatrics, rehabilitation, a learning and a mastery center. The clinic is approved as an education department for internal medicine, kidney diseases, cardiology, lung diseases, gastroenterology, blood diseases, endocrinology and geriatrics. Within internal medicine, we have 16 doctors in specialization and 20 senior physician positions.
