Overview

We are seeking a permanent Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist to join the Children’s Hearing Services team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. The role will be based across several sites in North Derbyshire and may involve weekend work on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide age‑appropriate audiological assessments and hearing aid provision/reviews.
• Deliver hearing rehabilitation, tinnitus management and APD assessment.
• Support patients and their carers with information, advice and emotional support.
• Participate in clinical audit and contribute to service development.
• Collaborate with the Derbyshire Hearing Support, Paediatric Consultant, Paediatricians and ENT Service.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Audiology (or equivalent).
• AHCS/RCCP or HCPC registration.
• Experience in an NHS audiology setting at Band 5 level or above.
