**Overview**

GovCIO is currently hiring for Network Engineer, Edge Operations for our NIH-CIT proposal. This position is located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position.

**Responsibilities**

The role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Support the Operations Section Manager with personnel administration, strategic planning, and staff planning. The Network Operations Senior Engineer will work alongside the Service Delivery Team, Architecture Team, and Security Team to support their objectives
+ Mentor network operations engineers in the practical application of current/emergent technologies, agile IT, ITIL and continuous improvement practices and techniques
