Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Key Purpose

• Design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Building Services in accordance with current standards, guidelines, regulations, and project requirements.
• Support and mentor our Early Careers population, contributing to continuous improvement of departmental capability.
• Manage Mechanical Services involvement on small to medium‑size projects, including time, cost, quality, delivery, and client relationships.
• Champion quality, compliance, and best practice across projects and local teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mechanical Building Services design and consultancy services under the direction of a line manager or project lead.
• Produce high‑quality design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Undertake site surveys and support construction‑stage activities.
