What the role is You will develop strategies, policies and programmes to strengthen occupational safety & health — thus reducing workplace injuries, promoting good mental and physical workforce health, and ensuring adequate financial protection for workers in the case of work injuries.
What you will be working on - Work closely with Senior Management to formulate and review policies and legislation such as the Workplace Safety and Health Act and Work Injury Compensation Act, including legislative amendments and drafting parliamentary speeches for any bills to be passed.
- Work with other government agencies, unions, industry associations, non‑government organisations, employers and insurers to develop effective workplace safety and health and work injury compensation initiatives.
