Ensure approved materials are used, and correct methods and workmanship are adopted by the Contractor.
Ensure works are carried out as per the Construction Drawings for the correct dimensions, levels, locations, etc.
Inspect works on the date and time as per the Contractor’s Request for Inspection (RFI).
Witness testing of all materials and work done on the date and time as per the Contractor’s Request for Inspection (RFI).
Prepare a written list of any points that may require attention, in concurrence with the Assistant Resident Engineer, where the Contractor has requested the inspection.
Re-inspect works that have been rectified before the subsequent works are permitted to be carried out.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Resident Engineer.
