Senior Information System Security Officer

Location: Washington, DC (On-site)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support federal systems throughout the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle. This role involves leading systems’ Authority to Operate (ATO) efforts and maintaining a security posture in compliance with federal standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on and leadership experience in information security for government environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end RMF lifecycle and the development of Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.

Manage the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) process, including vulnerability tracking, prioritization, and remediation.

Provide information security guidance to system development teams throughout the System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).
