Job Description
Education: Associate degree in Health Information Management OR equivalent HIM experience.
Experience: Five (5) years medical record experience. Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Credentialed in Health Information Management as an RHIT or CCS preferred
Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: Specialized computer software; limited telephone, fax or copier use Specialized Skills: Demonstrated ability to scan, index, analyze, and audit inpatient/outpatient/Emergency Department, etc. records. Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to form effective working relationships with other employees, management, physicians and other customers.
