The Senior Flood Risk Engineer will support the Flood Risk Manager in delivering the Council’s statutory duties as a Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010. This includes leading on the development, design and delivery of flood risk management schemes, providing specialist technical advice, and ensuring effective coordination of local flood risk activities across the authority.

The Role

•Deliver LLFA statutory functions including surface water management, land drainage consenting, enforcement, and the investigation of flood incidents, consistent with Section 19 duties.
