**Description**

Our growing WTR practice is looking for strong construction engineering candidates interested in working on some of the most exciting and challenging capital programs in northeastern Illinois. Each of these programs are unique and present opportunities to step into leadership roles at Burns & McDonnell. The projects tend to be small in nature but extremely complex and must be completed in short order to allow for larger sewer rehab projects to be initiated by the City.



+ Lead civil design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.

+ Prepare civil equipment: packaged equipment and construction specifications and data sheets, Request's for Qualifications (RFQ's), technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.

+ Review civil vendor drawings; data interface with suppliers, clients other engineering disciplines, detailers, des...
