The Consents team has a vacancy for a permanent, full-time Senior Environmental Planner.

The purpose of the role is to administer the District Plan and other related statues and regulations in an integrated manner to ensure customer needs and regulatory requirements are met.

We are looking for an individual with demonstrated experience and understanding of relevant legislation. You will have the knowledge and experience to deliver strategic and technical resource management planning outcomes. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively and to deliver consistently in a political environment.

The successful candidate will have the following:
