(What the role is) The Department plans and carries out the engineering design and development of infrastructures for collection of general waste and disposal of waste treatment residues, and redevelopment of closed landfills. You will be part of the Waste Collection System Branch, which is in charge of implementing District Pneumatic Waste Conveyance Systems (DPWCS) that serve the commercial and private residential sectors in specified areas of Singapore. You will also be involved in other waste infrastructure development projects handled by the Department from time to time. You will be required to work closely with various stakeholders in the government & private sectors. (What you will be working on) Your scope of work will include, but not be limited to:
