Role Summary

In this role, you will be a member of the Vehicle Core Software (VCS) team, responsible for architecting, implementing, and integrating platform software across Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ controls boards. The platform includes drivers, operating systems, middleware, and application frameworks necessary for all aspects of vehicle controls. Through close collaboration with Hardware and Application Software teams, you will build the foundation of Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies’ vehicle software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate the foundational platform software for Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies controls boards, from initial bring‑up to shipping to customers, including drivers, operating systems, and middleware.
• Design, develop and deploy embedded software for applications including power management, vehicle reset, occupancy detection, diagnostics and over‑the‑air update (OTA).
