Job Description

The Diocese of San Jose is seeking a mission-driven and visionary leader to serve as Senior Director of the Evangelization Department. The Senior Director of the Evangelization Department is instrumental in the Diocese's missionary transformation, spiritual and ecclesial renewal and in addressing the social and formational needs across the Diocese. The incumbent supports the Bishop's vision of drawing all to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to a more intimate understanding of the Catholic faith, wherever they are on their faith journey.

The incumbent provides strategic direction and leadership of all the established evangelization ministries within the Chancery including but not limited to Faith Formation, Intercultural Ministries, Lay Ministry Formation, Marriage and Family Ministry, Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Liturgy, Life Justice and Peace.
