Senior Design Mechanical Engineer Our client is an industrial products design and manufacturing company in the Vancouver area. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team to manage projects from concept through commercialization.

Responsibilities

Design and development of new products for plastics, die‑cutting and metals

Assist with quoting of new designs, including revisioning of existing designs to ensure that products are cost‑effective to produce

Creation of quality control tools and testing procedures to support the Production department

Programming of CNC router for production of new parts

Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Production, and Quality Control departments

Testing and validation of new raw materials

Other as required

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or other relevant technical education background
