The PacBio Software Team is looking for a Cyber-Security expert to help us deliver on our promise to achieve better human health through genomics. This role will be critical to help drive the business into the cloud and clinical space. We thrive on curious individuals who build great, cross-functional relationships, learning as much of the technology stack as possible. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish appropriate scope for cybersecurity environment, identify asset vulnerabilities, threat actors and attack vectors.
  • Design and implement information security policies and procedures that meet the organization’s specific needs
  • Articulate security policy controls based on defined hazards and vulnerabilities and security context.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams during design phase to provide guidance on building products that are secure-by-design.
