Senior Clinical Fellow – Urology

We invite applications for a 1‑year fixed‑term Senior Clinical Fellow position within the Urology department. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to ward rounds, outpatient clinics, elective and emergency theatres, and assist in teaching junior staff.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will fast‑track patients through diagnosis, initiate investigations, and provide initial management plans for urological issues. Duties include triaging patients, managing and treating them under consultant supervision, leading and supporting junior doctors, and participating in clinical governance activities such as audits, research projects, and publications. The postholder will also partake in on‑call rotation and quality‑improvement projects.
