Senior Automation Engineer – Trading Finance (Back Office, Accounting & Risk)
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer with strong trading finance domain expertise, focused on Back Office, Accounting, and Risk processes, with experience in automation and GenAI-driven solutions. The role will transform manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows into automated, scalable, and intelligent processes across APAC.
Key Responsibilities Automate core processes: Trade & position reconciliation Margin and broker reconciliation Cash forecasting and FX reconciliation Invoice generation and settlements Confirmation generation and standardisation Build solutions using: Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Query) Excel automation (VBA, Office Scripts) Python (scripting where needed) Apply GenAI (e.g., Copilot, LLMs, Agentic AI) to: Automate reporting and commentary Extract data from documents (invoices, broker statements) Enable validation, anomaly detection, and workflow as...
