Senior Android Developer – Drone Navigation & Control

Location: Glasgow or Kings Langley, UK

Position: Since September 2024, Sulzer Schmid is part of RES, the world’s leading renewable energy company. We are building the 3DX™ Blade Platform and need a senior Android developer for the Software Development team based mainly in Switzerland.

In this role you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our Drone Navigation and Control applications, collaborate with stakeholders to design high‑quality software, and support drone pilots during field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications for drone navigation and control.
• Integrate the DJI Mobile SDK (and similar SDKs) to deliver reliable flight and mission control.
