We’re looking for a sharp, adaptable Senior Advisor Programmes to help deliver some of Auckland Council’s most exciting economic development initiatives. Sitting within the Economic Development Office, this role works closely with the Principal Advisor across a varied portfolio that includes the sector‑specific funds, economic master planning for priority growth areas in south and north‑west Auckland, and bespoke projects that respond to emerging opportunities across the organisation. No two days will look the same—you’ll move between strategy, investment, stakeholder engagement, analysis, and delivery, helping turn ideas into practical programmes that support businesses, communities, mana whenua, and Auckland’s wider economic future.
