Our client, a private equity backed and quickly growing government contractor in the technology sector, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Fairfax, Virginia. There is a solid runway for career growth and development given all of their recent positive developments including potential acquisitions. In this Senior Accountant role, you will play a vital part in supporting their financial close and accurate GAAP financial reporting. In this exciting new role, you will support an established leadership team and:



+ Perform general ledger reconciliations, month end closing journal entries and ensure compliance with GAAP

+ Assist leadership with contract revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606

+ Conduct monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure timely and accurate financial closings.
