  2. Transaction Processing: Operate cash registers, POS systems, scanners, and card machines. Accurately process sales transactions including cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, coupons, and returns. Issue receipts, refunds, change, or store credit as appropriate.
  3. Accuracy and Security: Count cash in the register before and after shifts to ensure accuracy. Follow proper cash handling procedures and minimize errors or losses. Monitor for fraudulent activity and report any suspicious behavior to management.
