Data Analysis Section Leader

The Data Analysis Section Leader supports the District's core missions of Water Supply and Flood Control Planning by providing day-to-day leadership, coordination, and technical guidance for a section responsible for advanced data analysis and planning scenario formulation. Reporting to the Section Administrator within the Flood Control and Water Supply Planning Bureau, this role leads staff in advancing all data review, analysis and processing needs for Water Supply and Flood Control Planning initiatives, including future-conditions and scenario evaluations such as population projections, water use demands, land use development, surface, sea, and groundwater levels, rainfall and flooding patterns and relevant water quality data used to support Water Supply and Flood Resiliency plans, groundwater and flood risk management modeling, hydrogeology, Minimum Flows and Levels (MFL) evaluations and other tasks as identified.
