We are looking for a Bank Second Chef at Barchester. The role is casual, part‑time, and offers flexible working. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well‑balanced menus, tailoring them around residents’ individual needs. You will work in a person‑centred hospitality environment across our 224 homes and hospitals, and have opportunities for career growth within the UK’s leading healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Assist the Head Chef with menu development.
• Work fresh produce to deliver high‑quality, wholesome dishes cooked to the highest standards.
• Create a warm, efficient and fun environment.
• Work within budget.
