How will you contribute?

You will integrate the DISCO Research Group and contribute to a European research project aiming to demonstrate how emerging connected technologies can support intelligent, resilient and ultra-reliable digital services for healthcare and emergency response in clinical environments.

The main objective of the PhD will be to investigate, prototype and experimentally validate 5G/6G-enabled architectures and services for demanding healthcare use cases, such as emergency care, remote medical support, connected clinical workflows and data-driven healthcare services. A particular focus will be placed on integrating IoT and wearable devices, such as physiological sensors, smartwatches, and connected medical devices, as data sources within these architectures, as well as on designing a...
