The A*STAR Skin Research Labs is seeking a Scientist with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology to lead and support analytical research on the Digital Twin of Skin (DTS) and optical metrology of Asian skin. Skin is a remarkably complex organ, and our approach embraces this richness by decomposing it across multiple spatial and biological scales?nano, micro, and meso. At the nanoscale, this includes molecular and cellular information such as DNA, RNA, proteins, and other biochemical constituents, while higher scales capture tissue structure, optical properties, and functional responses.

The Digital Twin of Skin will integrate rigorous biophysical modeling with state-of-the-art AI methodologies into a unified framework that links mechanisms with data and prediction with interpretation.
