JOB OVERVIEW

At Kent College, Canterbury, we are seeking two Science Technicians to join an outstanding department from September 2024 to support the teaching of Science within the school. The Science Technicians will provide technical support to teaching staff, and will ensure the safe and proper use and maintenance of resources and equipment. Their technical knowledge and skills will support a variety of teaching activities, and as part of our energetic and welcoming team, they will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy environment for all children within the school.

The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills with experience of working as part of a team, and a well-developed interest in Science is crucial. A Technician NVQ or equivalent or experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
