JOB DETAILS

1) The Head of Primary School shall report to the Principal and Board of Management
2) Develop and implement systems for recording individual students’ progress and ensure that parents are informed regularly of the progress of their children at the school.

3) Assist the Principal in supporting the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning across the school and contribute to school self-evaluation and the development of improvement plans.

4) Communicate with students, staff and parents in a positive, friendly and professional manner.

5) Implement the Code of Behaviour and all school policies with an understanding of their rationale.

6) Liaising with the school union representatives on matters relating to the school.

7) 10+ years of experience in leading a large primary/elementary school
