Role Purpose:
1. Report Design & Development: Create interactive complex sub-reports drill-down and cross-
tab reports using Crystal Reports Designer.
2. Requirement Gathering: Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models.
3. BO Administration: Work with Central Management Console (CMC) to schedule publish and
manage reports.
4. Data Handling: Write and optimize SQL queries and manage data connections.
5. Universe Design: Develop/maintain Universes (IDT/UDT).
6. Testing & Support: Perform Unit and System testing; troubleshoot reporting issues.
7. System Optimization:Monitor system performance resolve complex technical issues and
manage system upgrades.
8. Support & Troubleshooting:Resolve complex technical issues and provide ongoing support to
ensure system stability.
9. Documentation:Maintain clear and accessible technical documentation to support delivery and
knowledge sharing.
