Job Description

SUMMARY:



This position is responsible to ensure that the plant meets mandatory sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment and facilities. This person carries out tasks in accordance with Whitsons policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws while following the Management Operating Structure.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


+ Ensures plant is audit ready at all times by cleaning, scrubbing, and sanitizing the outside of all equipment, tanks, stairs, walls, floors, baseboards, handrails, sinks, drains, and trash cans throughout the plant.

+ Assists production staff with cleaning up major projects as needed.

+ Responsible for the daily exterior cleaning of machinery.
