Position Summary: School Aide

The School Aide plays a vital role in supporting students who require instructional and/or behavioral assistance. Working under the direct supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, or designated supervisor, the School Aide helps create a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment. This position involves assisting students with academic tasks, reinforcing classroom instruction, and implementing behavior management strategies as directed by the supervising staff.

In addition to instructional support, the School Aide may provide personal care and mobility assistance for students with physical or therapeutic needs.
