Responsibilities of Sales Rep
Identifying and Qualifying Leads
- Prospecting: Actively seek out potential customers through various methods like cold calling, networking, or referrals.
- Lead Qualification: Assess if a lead is a good fit for the product or service, based on factors like budget, needs, and decision‑making authority.
Building Relationships and Presenting Solutions
- Establishing Rapport: Build trust and rapport with potential and existing customers.
- Product Knowledge: Must thoroughly understand the features, benefits, and value proposition of the products or services they sell.
- Needs Analysis: Identify customer pain points and tailor their presentations to demonstrate how the product or service can address those specific needs.
