Avenal Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a **Safety Spotter / Laborer** to join our team in Avenal, CA! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company.

The schedule will be Monday-Friday 4:30am-2pm with some overtime.

**The pay range for this position is $19-22/hour.**

Responsibilities Include:

+ Guiding customers to different areas of landfill
+ Spotting/directing trucks
+ Inspecting loads
+ Paying attention to “hot zones” to ensure the safety of all customers and employees
+ Traffic management - moving signs and cones
+ Ensuring that all customers are wearing proper PPE
+ General site cleanup
+ Performing other assigned duties at the landfill as needed
