**Job Description**

This is a Site Safety Manager that is responsible for the safety and well-being of about 50 employees on one site. We serve a client in a facilities capacity in an industrial atmosphere. You will be part of an awesome team of about10 safety practitioners that serve this client, but you will be responsible for only Flint Assembly.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Ensure the safety of workers through training, education, and daily communication through implementationand interpretation of MIOSHA Regulatory requirements applicable to the scope of work being performed.
+ Understand and comply with General Motors - Safety Contract Management programs and protocols
+ Maintain/ update/ create as necessary safety management system
+ Walk the thin line between management and the front line in a union environment
+ Work towards a proactive safety culture rather than a reactive one
