Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Train employees on safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
- Coordinate emergency response drills and activities
- Monitor use and maintenance of safety equipment
- Prepare safety reports for management and regulatory bodies
