Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day safeguarding and child protection processes across the school
• Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy DSLs
• Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns and referrals
• Maintain accurate, confidential safeguarding records using CPOMS
• Liaise with students, families, social care, CAMHS, police and other external agencies
• Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, review meetings and multi-agency meetings
• Coordinate referrals and support plans for vulnerable students
• Monitor safeguarding trends and help implement appropriate interventions
