Purpose of the Role

To be responsible for the day to day delivery of the Street Outreach service, ensuring that shift patterns and practices are set to ensure that contact is made and sustained with all people sleeping rough in the area. Responsible for overseeing a team of outreach workers, ensuring that the appropriate assessments and referrals are conducted and that there is an action plan with a clear route away from the street for those rough sleeping in London Borough of Enfield.

Supervisory responsibility

To lead and manage a team. Taking the lead in recruitment and selection of new staff to the team and expected to assist with the induction of staff, including on the job training of colleagues and provide advice to Colleagues in other Services on Street Homeless issues.
