MPI is looking for a Quality Engineer to start ASAP on a Long Term contract.

The role will be primarily based in Derby but will require travel to other sites.

Rate Negotiable – to be discussed on application.

Inside Scope of IR35.

Responsibilities

• Asset inspections to support handover and hand-back.
• In-process quality inspections.
• Final locomotive snagging and First Article Inspections.
• Production of reports covering asset inspections, FAI’s and improvement opportunities identified.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 3 apprenticeship in a recognised trade e.g. Mechanical, electrical.
• Experience in a Quality/Inspection role.
• Proven experience in Rail Vehicles retrofit/modification projects.
• Experience in project mobilisation and implementing new or existing procedures and processes. ...
