Roaming Staff Nurse / Paramedic (Band 5)

We are recruiting a Band 5 Registered Nurse / Paramedic to join our new roaming role across both our Inpatient Unit and Community End of Life Urgent Care Service. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across two specialist areas while delivering high quality, compassionate palliative and end of life care.

Main duties of the job

About the role

• Provide holistic, evidence based nursing care for patients with complex palliative and end of life needs in both hospice and community settings.
• Support clinical decision making, symptom management and rapid response to deteriorating patients to help maintain preferred place of care.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless, person centric care for patients and families in a blended role across the two settings.
