Summary:
The RN - Team Coordinator, under the supervision of the clinical nursing leader or department manager, he/she is responsible and accountable for the care of the assigned patients and directs others to assure compassionate and patient centered care is completed on a shift to shift basis. The RN is expected to practice autonomously within the scope of professional standards, the rules and regulations established by the Tennessee or Virginia Board of Nursing, and knowledge of the policies and procedures within Ballad Health. He/she demonstrates skill in developing and guiding collaborative collegial practice that delivers safe competent care based on meticulous application of the nursing process. He/she demonstrates sensitivity and understanding of the diverse cultural backgrounds of patients and caregivers.
