About this unit

1 South is an acute care surgical short stay unit caring for orthopedic, plastic surgery, general surgery and gynecological surgical patients. Patients are transferred after Phase II PACU and continue their recovery and discharged either same day or POD #1. Patients requiring a blood transfusion are also cared for on this unit
