Pediatric Nurse

This key role will support general pediatric physicians within the Division of Academic Pediatrics in providing clinical care in a dynamic outpatient setting. This position is during regular clinic hours, Monday thru Friday, with no weekends. Primary role is triaging care and managing tasks related to general pediatric patients including paperwork, orders and scheduling patients. Potential procedure skills we are looking for include ability to give vaccines, obtain respiratory swabs (NP swab, Strep Throat testing), and catheterized urine samples. Position provides specialized patient care and education for patients receiving treatments and examinations according to established procedures. The work location will primarily be at the Academic Pediatric clinic at WashU Specialty Care – North County. Secondary coverage will be at clinic in St. Louis Children's Hospital with the potential to be at other clinic locations if needed.
