Job Summary:
The RN Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for Quality Improvement activities at both an institutional as well as departmental level which includes coordinating efforts with key stakeholders such as physicians, nurses, ancillary staff and Information Technology. Demonstrates the ability to analyze data and facilitate the design, development, and implementation of process improvement initiative based on the findings. Assists in the coordination of DNV and Department of Health activities related to performance improvement standards. Supports departmental quality improvement and specific quality improvement projects. Supports institutional quality improvement initiatives as they relate to key clinical outcomes (example: mortality, readmissions, length of stay, patient experience).
