**Job Description :**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW**

Delivers professional nursing care in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative settings to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.(40%)
+ Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.(40%)
+ Assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.(20%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.
