JOB SUMMARY

The RN Team Leader reports to the Clinical Manager. The Team Leader must possess thorough knowledge of care and is responsible to stay abreast of current trends and standards. The Team Leader is a resource and educator to the staff. Responsible for ensuring that safe, age appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. Functions as a role model, advisor, resource and leader for other members of the patient care team. The Team Leaders conduct should reflect both Carroll Hospital Center mission statement and SPIRIT values. Under general supervision, they should provide administrative support, ensure nursing practice, performance management, and education related competencies for assigned area is completed in collaboration with the clinical mentor, manager and TLC.
