Basic Purpose: Provides direct and indirect patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in a patient's clinical condition, including assessment, planning and implementation of patient care. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Must be able to perform general nursing duties in all nursing departments with adequate training and supervision. Participates in departmental PI improvement projects.
Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Licensure: Mississippi Board of Nursing or Compact State Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Experience: Preferred but not required. Special Skills: National Certification as required by specific nursing units.
