Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN working in an inpatient intrapartum (Labor and Delivery) setting within the last two (2) years.
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (BLS): Possess and maintain certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), n Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification from the Association of Women s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
Possess and maintain certification of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) or Emergencies in Clinical Obstetrics (ECO).
