Critical Care Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, with weekends and holidays as scheduled.

The ICU is a fast-paced environment providing care for critically ill patients with complex needs. The unit has a total of 18 beds, with plans to expand to 27 by June/July 2023. Nurses will typically care for 2 patients, with potential for 3 in overflow or step-down situations.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.

Monitor and assess patient conditions using invasive and non-invasive techniques.

Titrate critical medication drips including Levophed, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Insulin.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists and intensivists.

Manage complex patient care needs including sepsis, acute MI, renal issues, and post-vascular procedures.
